First prize in the Russian government's competition to design the development of a new city adjacent to Nizhny Novgorod. The design of this new city is planned to accommodate some 35,000 inhabitants in 10,000 dwellings, with different types of development areas depending on whether they are luxury housing, townhouses or flat blocks. The project also envisages various facilities: university, sports stadium, schools, hotels, parks and shopping centres.
